To share the fascination and bring the allure of the real stadium to various international destinations, Allianz developed a scaled model which is one-twentieth the size of the original Allianz Arena. Its exterior surface also has the unique color-changing shell, changing between white, blue and red.
The first permanent Allianz Mini Arena was launched in June 2006 at Munich Airport and offers a unique, comfortable lounge for passengers before boarding, providing a more relaxed waiting time.
The constant development of the Allianz Mini Arena and its raising demand led into three flexible versions which can be used as a multifunctional lounge for events, exhibitions, and public viewings. These Mini Arenas are currently touring throughout international airports or other unusual locations worldwide. So far, they have been located in Zurich, Linz, Madrid, Paris, Seoul, and Shanghai.
"News to Go" is an interactive concept to give especially business travelers the opportunity to access up-to-date information. Free of charge, several kiosk terminals placed at the Allianz Mini Arenas offer latest news from business, politics, finance, and sports. Furthermore, the information provided includes “Insights”, a summary of Allianz engagements, and "Life & Travel", which includes a city guide to several international destinations and advice about fitness and health. Additionally, this information is also available for downloading onto mobile devices and PDAs.
With the Allianz Mini Arena, Allianz SE is able to activate the naming right and pass the fascination of the Allianz Arena on to the whole world.
